Black Fatigue (RuPaul's Drag Race: S11, Ep2)

What's shakin', Scorekeepers?! It's time for another episode of THE SCORE and another step on our journey through season 11 of RuPaul's Drag Race. This time we'll cover episode 2, "Good God Girl Get Out", in which the queens divide into teams to spoof the films Black Panther and Get Out. The results are... ummm... interesting. It's all worth it, however, because afterwards we are blessed with a runway full of our two favorite things: fashion and astrology!!! But before that, we dive into some current events and hot button political issues. Have you heard about the co-opting of the phrase "Black Fatigue"? We wish we hadn't. And, as always, we end with a little Pure Black Joy! Let's do it to it!

It's time to put the arts on game! Hosts Lee Bynum, Paige Reynolds, and Rocky Jones are three Black, queer artists and pop culture aficionados, who are working every day to bring more diversity, equity, and inclusivity into the arts. Each episode features a variety of stories from a variety of perspectives that bring People of the Global Majority, queer, trans and nonbinary folks, and everyone else into the discussion of ownership over and access to the arts. From the opera house to the statehouse to your house, each episode will amplify the voices of those in the field who are pushing the boundaries of what opera is, who it is for, and how it can transform us and our communities.
