At long last, we are joined once again by our dear friend, chef and Executive Director of The Black Feminist Project, Tanya Denise Fields! You may recognize Tanya (aka Mama Tanya) from her numerous appearances on The Food Network, but did you also know that she's an activist, philanthropist, philosopher, community builder and all-around badass? It's true! This week, she's here to chat with us about Cardamom & Thyme, BFP's new social justice cafe in the South Bronx and how she's fighting injustice and white supremacy with love, care, and of course, food.
